SHOOTOUT: iPhone XS Max versus top Android smart phones

Today the iPhone XR can be preordered. It has the same A12 processor as the iPhone XS Max, so we decided to celebrate by comparing the Geekbench CPU scores of the iPhone XS Max with the top Android smart phones.

Geekbench 4 CPU
The OVERALL score is a combination of integer, floating-point, and memory performance. (HIGHEST Score = FASTEST)
Geekbench 4 GPU Compute
The GPU various tests range from image processing to computer vision to number crunching. Android phones use RenderScript. Apple phones use Metal. (HIGHEST Score = FASTEST)
ANALYSIS
The iPhone XS Max is the clear winner in all three categories. The GPU score is TWICE as fast as the Android phones!
Last year's iPhone X is also faster than all three top Android smart phones.
